The greatest part of what I do is that I make people smile.  I make them smile when I give a Crunch employee a bouquet of flowers unexpectedly.  I get to see their eyes grow bigger when my artwork is complete. I make someone happy when I make a delicious calorie free birthday cake (out of balloons) layered with their favorite filling of colors, or give a young child a simplistic piece of balloon art.

My degree is Recreation Administration.  I went on to work for  San Jose Parks and Recreation Department in San Jose CA.   I started  balloon twisting  while I was working for The City of San Jose Therapeutic Recreation Department. I  turned my talents into a side business where I worked for trade shows, non-profits, churches and companies in and around Northern California.

My artwork turned into a business when I responded to a Craigslist add in San Francisco.   A nonprofit was looking for a balloon twister to help with their Annual Holiday Party.  My contact was Emily, who  worked for the San Francisco Aids Foundation (SFAF) and the event was a party  for women who had been affected by HIV/AIDS.  SFAF would invite 300 plus adults and children to this highly successful yearly event.  The first year I volunteered my time I was hooked.  I continued to do this yearly event from this point forward.
